Posted by JR on Dec 9th 2019
Solve it:
Locate a store that offers alteration/repair services
Look at styles and alternative hair options that fit your lifestyle and needs
Prevent it:
What is your circumference measurement?
- When your wig is too small fraying can occur
- Measure your circumference and choose the correct cap size
How are you adjusting your wig; when applying and through the day?
- Sliding your thumbs/fingers under the lace front can cause damage
- Carefully apply/adjust your wig using the ear tabs
What styling tools are you currently using?
- Styling tools that are rigid and/or sharp will tear any hand tied areas
- Use the Jon Renau Paddle Brush and/or Wide Tooth Comb (depending on fiber) on any hand tied areas
