- Once you’ve selected your desired Top Trend Lace HD Topper hair length, in either wavy or straight, position it over the area of hair loss and check the mirror to ensure proper balance and style.
- Before applying the Topper, comb your biological hair back.
- To find the perfect hairline placement, gently comb the topper clip back until you achieve the ideal lace front placement then secure the front clip (behind lace front) along the existing biological hairline.
- Next, secure the back clip before securing the clips on the sides.
- While clipping in the topper, use your opposite hand to hold the base flat and taut against the head for a secure and seamless fit.
- Finally, blend the topper with biological hair for a natural, flawless finish.
NOTE: Unlike traditional toppers that sit 1–2" behind the hairline, lace front toppers are designed to recreate a natural hairline and should be placed right at or slightly in front of your hairline. This allows the lace to blend seamlessly with the skin for a realistic, scalp-like appearance.
